Daisy Co. is committed to handling your information lawfully and transparently, in line with UK/EU GDPR and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy is effective from 30 June 2026.
What we collect and where it lives
Here is what we collect and where it goes:
- When you create an account: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), saved addresses, order history, favourites and reviews are stored in our secure customer database, hosted on Cloudflare D1. Your password is never stored in readable form, it is protected with scrypt, a strong one-way hashing algorithm with a unique per-user salt, so it cannot be recovered, even by us.
- When you place an order: your billing and shipping address, phone number and card details are entered on Stripe's secure hosted checkout page. Card details never reach our website or our servers. Stripe processes the payment and shares order and contact details with us so we can fulfil and support your order. The price you are charged is always set by us server-side.
- Analytics: with your consent, we use PostHog (EU region) to understand how the shop is used. This is tied to a random, anonymous identifier only, we never send your name, email or address to our analytics provider.
What we do with the information we gather
We use your information to create and manage your account, process and deliver orders, respond to enquiries, and provide customer support. We may send order-related or, with your consent, promotional emails via Resend, you can opt out at any time by contacting us at hello@daisyco.co.
Security
Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe (a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor) and never touches our systems. Account passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes, they cannot be read back, even by us. Administrative functions are protected behind authentication, and all traffic is served over HTTPS.
How we use cookies
We keep cookie use to a minimum. When you sign in, we store a session token in your browser to keep you logged in, this is essential and is not used for tracking. PostHog stores an anonymous analytics identifier only if you accept analytics in our cookie banner, and you can decline. We do not run advertising or third-party marketing trackers.
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to clear or decline them. Blocking essential storage may stop you from staying signed in.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR and the Australian Privacy Principles), you may have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, receive a copy of it, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@daisyco.co. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority (the ICO in the UK, or the OAIC in Australia).
Controlling your personal information
We do not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. If you believe any information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, email us at hello@daisyco.co and we will promptly correct it.
